Kristian has over 20 years of experience in digital and e-commerce. His work has been nominated for over 20 national and global marketing awards and is a hypergrowth specialist. His experience spans the founding of successful B2C start-ups in e-commerce, being part of leadership teams at 5th Finger, Big Red Group, Lux Everyday and 3 years as CEO of a company within a publicly listed group. In the last few years he’s been supporting the growth of early stage companies as part of the Government’s $28 million Research Commercialisation and Start-up Fund.

Julian Robertshawe
As a coder, software designer, product owner and company owner with 30 years’ experience Julian has seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to developing without feedback, without insight and the courage to acknowledge the information and provide back to our teams. In his role as Chief Technology Officer at The Distillery Julian does not build a minimum viable product – he builds the best customer experience.

David has 20 years of experience in commercial roles holding senior leadership positions in technology services & software companies across Europe and APAC. Born in England he moved to Australia in 2012 before settling in Adelaide in 2021. He is a keen cricket, AFL (Adelaide Crows) and football (not soccer!) fan following Manchester United as well as enjoying watching films and tv series.

Kanishka is the fastest man at the Distillery, not just in iOS and Android but actually running. Kinda like Usain Bolt except he’s shorter and ran for Sri Lanka and thankfully for us he hung up the boots and put all of that sprint into becoming a top developer. Kanishka is passionate about designing mobile app architectures, which keeps us all very happy.

Naved is a Full Stack Developer with over 12 years of experience, specializing in PHP-based projects. Originally from India, he moved to Adelaide in 2020, bringing his passion for coding and problem-solving. He has worked on diverse projects, building robust and scalable web applications while continuously exploring new technologies. Beyond coding, Naved enjoys watching movies, binge-watching series, and getting lost in a good book. He is always eager to stay updated with industry trends and expand his technical expertise.

Nushan Weerasinghe
Nushan began his career as an elite-level cricketer, representing his state and earning selection for the Sri Lankan U19 National side. Choosing to pivot from sport to business, he joined EY in the Big Four accounting world before finding his true passion in digital project management. Today, he bridges the gap between clients, designers, and developers — ensuring every digital project stays on track and every product story has a successful ending.
